Houston crash at Southwest Freeway, Beltway 8: Lanes reopen
HOUSTON - The I-69 Southwest Freeway has reopened after a crash blocked multiple lanes for hours Tuesday morning.

What we know:
The crash was reported around 6 a.m. in the northbound lanes of the I-69 Southwest Freeway at Beltway 8.
A vehicle appears to have fallen from the elevated HOV lane. A large section of the concrete barrier from the elevated HOV lane is missing, and a heavily damaged SUV is on the main lanes of the Southwest Freeway.
Houston METRO confirms that a driver is believed to have driven over the main lane at the T-ramp and ran into the HOV lane.
At least four left lanes of the Southwest Freeway were shut down for hours. Vehicles were being forced off of the Southwest Freeway onto the Sam Houston Tollway ramp.
The roadway reopened shortly before 11:30 a.m.
What we don't know:
METRO says the condition of the driver is not known at this time.
