HOUSTON (FOX 26) - Health officials have now confirmed seven flu-related deaths in the Houston area this flu season.
The City of Houston Health Department confirms that there were two flu-related deaths in the City of Houston. The patients were two women in their 60s. Officials say one died at the end of November and the other died at the end of December.
Harris County Public Health confirms two flu-related deaths in Harris County.
Montgomery County health officials have increased their total to three flu-related deaths in the county.
This comes after two men passed away from potential flu-related symptoms after they were transported to a local hospital while in custody of the Montgomery County Jail.
