Sulphuric Acid leak caused blocks on I-610 East Loop, lanes have reopened

The lanes of I-610 East Loop in southeast Houston have been cleared after a hazmat incident.

According to the Texas Department of Transportation in Houston, the I-610 East Loop southbound exit ramp to Manchester was blocked after a reported Hazmat incident.

Houston Fire Department officials report Sulphuric Acid was leaking from a truck.

The truck was unloaded and taken to a facility with no reported injuries, officials confirm.
