HOUSTON - A woman stabbed her ex-boyfriend to death after he allegedly forced his way into her northwest Harris County apartment, the sheriff says.

The deadly incident occurred overnight in the 5100 block of FM 1960 Road West near Champion Forest Drive.

According to Sheriff Ed Gonzalez, after the man allegedly forced his way into the apartment, an argument turned physical.

The ex-girlfriend reportedly grabbed a knife and stabbed the ex-boyfriend.

The man was taken to the hospital in critical condition and later died from his injuries.

The Harris County Sheriff’s Office is investigating.
