Harris County treasurer reassures taxpayers after assistant treasurer's dominatrix scandal

Harris County Treasurer Orlando Sanchez said that no taxpayer money was used after the assistant treasurer, Gregory Lueb was accused last week of stealing more than $35K to pay off a blackmailing dominatrix. Sanchez reiterated, "To this date, there is no indication that public money was involved."  Sanchez also added, "That one person with one signature could NOT move millions of dollars of county funds."

Court records indicate that Lueb opened a credit line of $10,000 at the Harris County Federal Credit Union and started making cash advances against the credit line.

Lueb, 56 was accused last week of stealing thousands of dollars from the county's credit union to pay off his "financial dominatrix." He reportedly paid $35,000 to meet the demands of a financial dominatrix named "Mistress Cindy" who he met on an S&M website. Investigators say Mistress Cindy threatened to tell Lueb’s wife if he didn't send the cash.
