HARRIS COUNTY, Texas - Harris County authorities are investigating a deadly shooting near Humble early Saturday morning.
Around 4 a.m., deputies arrived at a crash scene at the 15100 block of Golden Eagle Drive after a black sedan crashed into a parked vehicle.
CRIME: Houston woman found murdered in car on Briscoe Street
Sheriff Ed Gonzalez said 17-year-old Darnell Cotton, was found dead from apparent gunshot wounds in the driver seat of the sedan.
The black sedan had been reported stolen earlier from a nearby apartment complex, said Gonzalez.

Harris County officials said the owner of the black sedan that was stolen, Dushawn Caples, 30, admitted to driving his wife's SUV, chasing and shooting into the car driven by the individual with an unknown passenger.
Caples stated that the individual refused to stop, and that's when officials said, he fired shots into the car, causing the victim to crash.
A murder charge has been filed against Capers, and he has been booked into the Harris County Jail.
