Harris County crime: Stepfather killed in evening shooting, stepson being questioned by authorities

HARRIS COUNTY, Texas - Harris County authorities are investigating following a deadly shooting involving a stepson and stepfather. 

Authorities said the shooting occurred in the 600 block of Regal Hollow Lane.

Officials said the 51-year-old stepfather was taken to the hospital where he later died. 

The stepson, 27, was taken into custody and is currently being questioned by homicide detectives. 

The motive behind the shooting is unknown.
