Harris County crime: Father accused of assaulting his infant child multiple times

HARRIS COUNTY, Texas - One man is facing charges in Harris County after being accused of assaulting his infant child multiple times.

What we know:

According to Harris County Constable Precinct 4 Office, deputies were called out to an area hospital located on Ella Boulevard, in reference to an assault. 

Before deputies arrived, Child Protective Services advised that an infant patient had been physically assaulted. 

Officials said further investigation revealed that the child's father, Ezequiel Perez, assaulted the infant child multiple times, causing pain and visible injuries that required medical attention. 

Perez was arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail charged with injury to a child.
