Harris County crime: Authorities searching for escapee who ran from Joint Processing Center
HARRIS COUNTY, Texas - The Harris County Sheriff's Office is searching for a man who escaped from the Joint Processing Center in Harris County on Tuesday.

What we know:
Officials said the man, Travis Earl Bryant II, 47, exited the Harris County Joint Processing Center releasing area just before 1 p.m. Tuesday.
Authorities stated he was wearing a dark gray-colored mechanics jumper.
Bryant is described as a Black male, 6-foot-tall, and weighing 175 pounds.
Bryant was being transferred to Jefferson County on a misdemeanor possession of a controlled substance case from that county.
He was arrested in Harris County on the outstanding warrant on January 22.
