Fox 26's Damali Keith recognized at Black History Month luncheon

HOUSTON (FOX 26) - Some outstanding Houstonians are being recognized for their efforts including Fox 26’s own Damali Keith.  She and several others were awarded for being a “Pillar in the community” by Houston Educational Support Personnel during a Black History Month luncheon.

”We identify African Americans in our communities, our churches and our neighborhoods who are doing outstanding work with our kids,” explains HESP President Wretha Thomas.

Organizers hope the event will encourage others to volunteer to help make a difference in the lives of Houston children.
