The Houston area is under a tornado watch until 9 p.m. Wednesday and a flash flood watch until 7 a.m. Thursday.

FOX 26 has confirmed a Houston banker was paid a $30,000 legal settlement after being beaten into a coma by the current Katy ISD Superintendent Lance Hindt. This happened back in 1983 when Hindt was 18. The 1985 settlement agreement goes against Tuesday's statement by the KISD board president, who claimed the lawsuit was dismissed without damages.

A lawsuit claims Katy ISD knew art teacher Robert Milton was sexually preying on students long before 2016 when he was arrested for having sex with a high school student.

The Harris County District Attorney announced a major crackdown on an illegal gambling network in Chinatown. A year-long investigation resulted in the shut down of illegal gambling at five businesses and a home.
