Child Protective Services has a warning for parents: never take your eyes off of your children at swimming pools. In less than a week, two children have died after drowning in pools in Harris County.
Tuesday was the first day back to class for Santa Fe High School students since the mass shooting. Alumni and community members came out to "Stand With Santa Fe" in the morning and show their support.
Santa Fe High School has tightened security with help from a national security company. American Guard Services is providing security for the last week of school at no cost. The company also offered to donate six walk-through metal detectors.
Houston Independent School District Police will be launching a new unit to cope with school shootings. It will be ready by the new school year.
Starbucks closed 8,000 locations on Tuesday so that employees throughout the U.S. could take part in anti-bias training.
