A five-year-old girl is clinging to life after a suspected drunk driver crashed his truck into her family's car.

Houstonians attended the 41st annual Original MLK Jr. Parade in downtown Houston on Monday. 

The City of Houston, Houston Relief Hub and several nonprofit groups have formed a partnership to help people in Houston impacted by the partial government shutdown.

Hurricane Harvey survivors still in need of help are visiting the four recovery centers that the city has opened. Officials are beginning the process of distributing more than one billion dollars in federal funds for long-term recovery.
