Flooding issues in Kingwood area

HOUSTON (FOX 26) - The storms may not have been too bad in some areas, the past few days, but in one  Kingwood neighborhood  they left a sopping mess.

In the Lake Point and North Shore community rain runoff  is slow to drain and is causing the San Jacinto River to begin rising  

A big concern for the residents who estimate the water has risen nearly 7 feet.  Living close to the river these residents are familiar with flooding after heavy rains.
