2 injured in crash involving Galveston trolley and car

The cause of a crash involving a trolley and a car in Galveston is under investigation.

GALVESTON, Texas - Firefighters cut a driver out of their car after a crash with a trolley in Galveston.

The crash occurred on Broadway and 7th Avenue around 10 p.m. Sunday.

The extent of the car driver’s injuries is unknown.

Officials say the trolley driver was also injured in the crash and is in stable condition.

There were no passengers in the trolley at the time.

The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
