The Fort Bend County Sheriff's Office says a 15-year-old boy was charged with evading arrest and aggravated assault on a peace officer after leading deputies on a bus chase.
On March 23 around 9:40 p.m., deputies received a call about a school bus driving erratically at FM 1464 and Beechnut. Deputies say when units located the bus, the driver would not stop. Deputies say the driver was driving erratically, striking barriers and objects along the way.
The pursuit came to an end at SH 99 and S. Mason, and a 15-year-old boy was taken into custody. The sheriff's office says the teen was charged with evading arrest and aggravated assault on a peace officer for ramming a patrol unit. Deputies say the bus was privately owned by a church and they declined to prosecute for theft.
No deputies or civilians were injured, the sheriff's office says.
Dash cam video of the pursuit was featured in an episode of the A&E show "Live PD".
