Double homicide in Humble, suspect charged with capital murder
HUMBLE, Texas - Harris County Sheriff's Deputies are investigating a double homicide that happened in Humble on Monday night.
Sheriff Ed Gonzales says deputies from Precinct 4 were called to the 8000 block of Rebawood in Humble for a shooting.

The backstory:
When deputies arrived, they found a man dead from gunshot wounds. They also found a female who had been shot. She was taken to the hospital where she died.
Crime Scene Investigators and Homicide Investigators were called to the scene.
The investigation revealed 34-year-old Yamil Rivera-Perez went to his ex-girlfriend's house and forced his way inside.
He is accused of shooting his ex-girlfriend and her male friend who was visiting at the time.
Rivera-Perez was booked into the Harris County Jail and has been charged with capital murder.

Court documents have identified the two victims in the crime.
The female has been identified as Charity Freeman. The male has been identified as Alejandro Suarez.
If convicted of capital murder, Rivera-Perez will face life in prison or death.
According to court documents, the Assistant District Attorney filed a motion to deny bail for Rivera-Perez.
He is denied bail pending indictment, and may be subject to bail after indictment.
If he is able to post a bond after indictment, he will not be allowed to have any contact with Freeman or anyone in her family. He will also not be allowed to contact any of Suarez's family members. He will not be allowed to possess any firearm, will have to take random drug tests, will have to wear an ankle monitor and comply with a curfew.
