Deputies say teen stabbed teen behind middle school in Porter
PORTER, Texas (FOX 26) - Deputies say a 13-year-old boy was stabbed by another 13-year-old boy behind White Oak Middle School in Porter on Wednesday afternoon.
Deputies say it happened around 4:10 p.m. Wednesday on school grounds behind the school. According to the Montgomery County Sheriff's Office, the two teens got into a verbal altercation which escalated when one of the teens stabbed the other teen in the abdomen.
MCSO says the boy that was stabbed ran to his home and reported what happened to his mother who called deputies. The injured teen was taken to Texas Children's Hospital in Houston with nonlife-threatening injuries. Deputies located the 13-year-old suspect nearby and arrested him for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. MCSO says the teens are of distant family relation.
