Deadly crash shuts down Southwest Freeway SB near Beltway 8

HOUSTON - Police are investigating a deadly crash on the Southwest Freeway.

The crash was reported in the southbound lanes of the Southwest Freeway near Beltway 8 around 12:30 p.m. Monday.

All southbound lanes of the Southwest Freeway are closed.

Drivers are asked to avoid the area and seek an alternate route.
