A deadly crash has closed all lanes of the 610 North Loop westbound at Airline at 6 a.m. this morning.  Five cars are involved with the crash, and crews will be on the scene investigating the crash all morning long.  N45 ramps to Westbound 610 are closed.  Use Calvacade Street or Crosstimbers Street as alternate route.

Fog remains a major factor this morning and poses a real danger for the area roadways, with near zero visibility at Bush IAH airport.

At least 1 person was killed in this morning's 5-car crash on the North Loop near Airline Drive. Another driver involved said he saw a vehicle stopped in the rain, so he stopped--then he was hit from behind by another vehicle.  The driver and his passenger weren't seriously injured. Houston police have not released any information about the cause of the crash or the identity of the person who was killed.
