Major crash on Hwy 90, leaves 1 dead

Fort Bend County sheriff's deputies say children are involved in a major crash on Highway 90 that left at least one person dead.

One adult is dead and three people are injured, including a child, after a major crash on U.S. 90 Alternate near Rosenberg Friday morning.

In a tweet, the Fort Bend County Sheriff's Office reports that it happened around 9 a.m. by the FM1952 intersection.

They added that children were also involved in the major accident. The age of the deceased is unknown at this time.

SkyFOX was over the scene and captured what appeared to be two crushed SUVs and one overturned 18-wheeler. Debris is seen spread across the roadway.

Deputies say EMS units were sent to the scene, and Hazmat and Air Medical are also on standby.
