Car jackers attempt to rob off duty police officer

HOUSTON (FOX 26) - An off duty Houston police sergeant was on his way home from working a second job. He was in his personal vehicle, but he was in uniform.  He noticed someone tailing him closely so he made a random turn and stopped. The other car went past him then a man got out with a gun. The officer told the suspect to stop and that he was a police officer. The man continued to approach so, he opened fire, hit the man in the rear end one time. They arrested the alleged carjacker or attempted carjacker and they're questioning the other guys. The car they were riding in had been carjacked
