Astros players Alex Bregman, Lance McCullers Jr. debuting hard seltzer at local brewery for World Series
HOUSTON - Astros star players Alex Bregman and Lance McCullers Jr. are debuting a special drink Tuesday just in time for fans to enjoy for Game 1 of the World Series.
The drink is a hard seltzer called Three Sun, which will be brewed and sold exclusively Buffalo Bayou Brewing (2101 Summer St.) in Sawyer Heights.

Currently, Three Sun will launch a mango and huckleberry flavor and release two additional flavors soon.
Buff Brew’s Executive Chef Arash Kharat worked side by side with the players to get the right flavor and aroma.
The seltzer is brewed right on the first floor, then served to fans dining in with a view.

"First pass through, knocked it out of the park. It’s very subtle, but so refreshing," Kharat said.
Three Sun marks Bregman’s second product. His first was Breggy Bomb Salsa, which is now sold at stores, like HEB and Kroger.
"This is a huge deal. I don’t know any other professional athlete that has their own seltzer line," Kharat said.
Three Sun will now become a permanent drink on tap at Buffalo Bayou Brewing.

Up next, Kharat says they'll be working on packaging the drink, which typically takes several weeks. Kharat predicts Three Sun will be ready to be sold in stores by Spring Training.
