Boy, 3, dies after being struck, killed in parking lot

HOUSTON (FOX 26) - Police say a three-year-old boy has died after being struck by a vehicle in northwest Houston.

Police say the boy was riding a bike in the parking lot of an apartment complex in the in the 5300 block of W. Gulf Bank when he was struck by a van.

The driver remained on the scene. Investigators say there were no signs the driver was intoxicated. The district attorney will determine if charges will be filed.
