A bomb threat was called into Lakewood Church on Tuesday evening, prompting an investigation by the Houston Police Department.
The call was received at 6:42 p.m. with reports a man threatened to blow up the church with a device attacked to Sarin Gas. Officers identified the man and connected him to a separate call earlier in the day.
Authorities, including HPD, the Houston Fire Department, and bomb disposal experts, are currently working to assess suspicious bags found at the church's entrance.

The suspect was located and taken into custody by officers. Police also found duffel bags which were investigated by bomb squad and HFD Hazmat.
HPD found clothes and some electronic devices inside the bags. No threats were determined, and no explosive device was found.
According to police, the man was charged with third degree felony terroristic threat.
