Bomb threat called into Lakewood Church; no explosives found

A bomb threat was called into Lakewood Church on Tuesday evening, prompting an investigation by the Houston Police Department. The call was received at 6:42 p.m., according to the HPD Watch Command.

Authorities, including HPD, the Houston Fire Department, and bomb disposal experts, are currently working to assess a suspicious package found at the church's entrance. 

Although no explosive device has been found so far, the scene remains active.
