Body found in northwest Harris County neighborhood lake

HARRIS COUNTY, Texas - Harris County authorities are investigating a death in the north Houston-area after a body was found in a lake.

Constable Mark Herman's Office deputies were called to the 7200 block of Avalon Bluff Drive in response to reports of a body found by residents out on a walk.

Officials say the man was discovered in a body of water in the Lakes of Avalon Village subdivision near Spring. The man has been missing since Monday, investigators say.

Authorities are investigating the death.
