Body found in bayou in downtown Houston

HOUSTON - Police are investigating after a body was found in a bayou in downtown Houston.

According to Houston police, a person was found deceased in the bayou near Commerce St. and San Jacinto around 10 a.m. Thursday.

The body has been recovered from the bayou.

Homicide detectives are responding to the scene.
