‘Black Panther' nominated for 3 Golden Globe Awards

It has grossed more than $7 billion at the global box office and is widely considered to be one of the best marvel movies to date.

"Black Panther" was nominated for Best Motion Picture in the drama category at the 2019 Golden Globes. It's first time a superhero movie has been nominated in that category.

Despite being a cultural phenomenon, there are critics who say Black Panther is just a good -- not great movie -- and is only getting award recognition for political reasons.
