2 major big rig traffic accidents close parts of Southwest Freeway; one scene cleared
HOUSTON - A big rig fire on the Southwest Freeway has caused a traffic jam Wednesday.
The traffic incident is on the inbound lanes of I-69 at Beltway 8.

Houston police say commuters should expect delays.
No word on what caused the fire or how long lanes will remain closed.
Also on the Southwest Freeway, all lanes on the southbound side near Highway 288 have reopened after an 18-wheeler rolled over overnight.
The load weighed around 45,000 lbs.
Heavy duty wreckers were able to help clear the scene several hours later.
