Behind Breaking Bond: Last-ditch effort to stop certain bills from passing

HOUSTON - During our ongoing digital series, Behind Breaking Bond, our Randy Wallace examines a last-ditch effort in Austin to stop certain bills from passing. 

PREVIOUS: These bills remain alive in Austin, but will they pass?

Among those bills include stopping PR bonds for felons in possession of a weapon and making a change to the state constitution by giving judges more discretion to deny bonds for some violent offenders. 

The final hearing on this bill is Tuesday and a vote could happen at some point but FOX 26 will be closely watching.
