A Beaumont hospital evacuated its patients because flooding from Harvey caused the local water supply to fail.

Baptist Hospital evacuated nearly 200 patients by air on Thursday.

Rising flood waters covered pumps that are the city's primary source for drinking water.

Beaumont officials say it's unclear when they will be able to provide residents with potable water.

The hospital says it can't operate without it.
