HCSO: Man fatally shot at gas station while meeting with suspects about stolen dogs
HARRIS COUNTY, Texas - Authorities need your help locating three suspects following a deadly shooting at a northeast Harris County gas station on Tuesday evening.
According to Lt. Minchew with the Harris County Sheriff's Office Homicide Division, the shooting occurred just after 5:45 p.m. at the Murphy Gas Station, located next to the Walmart near the intersection of Wallisville Road and Beltway 8.

Lt. Minchew said a man was shot in the leg and was confirmed dead upon arrival at the hospital.
According to investigators, unknown suspects had stolen multiple dogs from a breeder/kennel and then contacted the dog owners about returning the dogs in exchange for a reward.
The sheriff’s office says a meeting was arranged, but a disturbance occurred at the gas station. Authorities say a friend of the dog owner was shot and killed.

Investigators are asking for the public’s help to identify three suspects, described as Black males in their 20s, who were in a matte black Chrysler 300 sedan.
