Houston Astros outfielder George Springer met with one of three drivers from from New Britain, Ct. at Minute Maid Park on Friday afternoon. He, along with his family and friends from Ct. collected donations for Houston-area residents affected by Harvey.

Donated items included everything from diapers to non-perishable items. The family felt compelled to help after seeing what happened.

Springer and the Astros also gave that driver, Chris Tucker of Siracusa Moving, a goodie bag including a Houston Strong t-shirt and a signed baseball. The company donated the drives down the Houston, which took three days to complete.
