American Airlines offers free flight change at airports impacted by smoke, poor air quality
American Airlines is allowing travelers to rebook their flights on June 8 or June 9 for free when traveling through 25 airports in cities impacted by poor air quality levels from the Canadian wildfires.
Passengers in any fare class, including basic economy, can rebook their flights with no change fee as long as they bought their ticket by June 7.

They must be traveling to, through or from the following airports:

· Albany, New York (ALB)
· Allentown, Pennsylvania (ABE)
· Baltimore, Maryland (BWI)
· Boston, Massachusetts (BOS)
· Buffalo, New York (BUF)
· Charlottesville, Virginia (CHO)
· Cleveland, Ohio (CLE)
· Columbus, Ohio (CMH)
· Hampton / Newport News, Virginia (PHF)
· Manchester, New Hampshire (MHT)
· New York Kennedy, New York (JFK)
· New York LaGuardia, New York (LGA)
· Newark, New Jersey (EWR)
· Norfolk, Virginia (ORF)
· Philadelphia, Pennsylvania (PHL)
· Providence, Rhode Island (PVD)
· Richmond, Virginia (RIC)
· Rochester, New York (ROC)
· Salisbury / Ocean City, Maryland (SBY)

· Washington Dulles, Washington D.C. (IAD)

To have the change fee waived, travelers need to rebook by June 9 and cannot change their origin or destination city. Rescheduled flights must be within a year.
To rebook, travelers can change their flight online. If travelers are unable to change their flight online, they can call reservations.
