HOUSTON - The Houston-area teen at the center of an Amber Alert has been located.
According to the Harris County Sheriff’s Office, the 16-year-old girl was found safe and has been returned home.

The Amber Alert was issued Wednesday afternoon for the teen who had last been seen in the early morning hours.
The alert was canceled early Thursday morning.
