Animal control officers in DeSoto found a 15-foot albino python over the weekend.
The snake was found in the 1300 block of Plaza Road, near Interstate I-35 at Pleasant Run on Saturday.
It was most likely a pet that either escaped or was released by its owner.
Officers said the snake was dead when they found it.
