Al Green holds on as U.S. House Representative for Texas's 9th District

HOUSTON - Democrat incumbent Al Green has won re-election for U.S. House Representative in Texas's 9th congressional district against his opponent Republican Jimmy I. Leon.

Congressman Green has served the district since 2005. He won the election against the Republican candidate at the time Arlette Moline.
