Aircraft veers off runway at Hooks Airport in Spring, HCSO confirms

The Harris County Sheriff’s Office confirms an aircraft down at David Wayne Hooks Memorial Airport in Spring.

Based on preliminary information, a single-engine Piper PA-28 landed around 8:50 a.m. and veered off the runway.

Two people were on board, but Sheriff Ed Gonzalez says no injuries have been reported.

Emergency responders are at the scene.
