"I would like to see my house back in order that I could enjoy myself in life," said 98-year-old Naomi Williams.
When we met Williams last week, she didn't know how she was going to repair her flood damaged home.
FEMA denied her, and her home was so mold ridden you could even smell it.
"When you meet her, she has a character out of this world," said Houston rapper Trae the Truth. "You can't help but do nothing but love her."
Less than 24 hours after our Only on FOX report about Williams aired, Trae the Truth and his partner DJ Mr. Rogers sprang into action.
Their non-profit group called "Relief Gang" is repairing the elderly woman's house for free and paying for a place for her to stay until the work is done.
"I've put my whole rap career on the side. I've had albums come out since the hurricane that I haven't promoted that just got lost in the shuffle," Trae the Truth said.
When Williams returns home, she'll have a house full of new furniture courtesy of Mattress Mack and Gallery Furniture.
"I'm going to give her $10,000 in furniture and $3,600 in free accessories to say thanks to her for all she does," Mattress Mack said to Williams' friend Alma Shelton.
Shelton was there representing Williams, who couldn't make it to the store Tuesday night.
"She would be bowled over, I know," Shelton said. "I can't hardly wait until she's able to go back into the house and see what has happened with the repairs and the furniture."
