Four people shot at gas station in southeast Houston
Police are investigating after four people were shot at a southeast Houston gas station on Thursday night.
HOUSTON - Houston police are investigating after four people, three suspects and an innocent bystander, were shot at a Houston gas station on Thursday evening.
According to authorities, officers responded to a robbery call just before 8 p.m. at the Circle K Valero, located at 8040 South Loop East.

Police said a preliminary investigation revealed that a total of five suspects were involved in the robbery.
Four of the suspects, who were masked, and at least one of them was armed, entered the store and started robbing the customers inside the convenience store at gunpoint.
While the robbery was ongoing, police believe a customer, who was armed inside the store, fired his weapon at the suspects.
At that point, three of the four suspects who were in the store were hit by gunfire.

A fourth person, an innocent bystander, who was also inside the store was struck by the gunfire as well. Police said it's unclear at this time if the bystander was shot by the suspects or the customer who fired on the suspects.
After the suspects left the store, a fifth suspect, who was waiting in a car, fled the scene with the suspects, who then went to a nearby hospital where three of the suspects received medical treatment.
Officials said the innocent bystander who was struck, was taken to the hospital and is said to be in stable condition.

As for the suspects, police said one of the suspects is in critical condition while the two other suspects are in stable condition.
Police said they also believe they have the driver of the vehicle in custody as well.
The investigation into the incident is ongoing.
