HOUSTON - One man who had his bond reduced is now accused of committing new crimes.
Murder suspect's bond reduced, now accused of new crimes
What we know:
Jaylen George was out of jail in January 2021, on a personal recognizance bond after being charged with felony theft.
Then in June 2021, police said George shot and killed his 15-year-old sister at 12601 South Green Drive to prevent her from running away.
Following his arrest, George's bond for capital murder was set at $500,000 in the 232nd Judge Josh Hill's court.
Then, three months later, George's bond was reduced to $250,000.
Then, after another three months, his bond was lowered to $150,000 and the capital murder charge is reduced to murder.
George's $500,000 bond was reduced to just $35,000.
In all, George's bond was lowered seven times before he became a free man.
George posted bond in September 2021.

What they're saying:
"I've not seen this many bond reductions on a murder case ever," said Andy Kahan with Houston Crime Stoppers. "It's unbelievable that you can go from a $500,000 bond to a measly $35,000," Kahan said.
Dig deeper:
According to court documents, it didn't take him long to violate his bond conditions.
"There were four motions to revoke his bond," said Kahan.
Earlier this month, George was charged with two counts of robbery with bodily injury and tampering with his electronic monitor.
He's now back behind bars with bonds totaling $800,000.
