2 killed, two injured in overnight shooting at midtown Houston nightclub
FOX 26 Reporter Matthew Seedorff has more following a deadly shooting at a Houston nightclub.
HOUSTON - Two men are dead and two other men were taken to the hospital after shots were fired inside a nightclub in Houston.
Authorities say a deputy, who was working an extra job, shot one of the men. The deputy was not injured.

The shooting occurred around 1:21 a.m. Monday at the Clé nightclub in the 2300 block of Main Street in Houston.
Police say it unclear what led up to the shooting, but three male patrons were wounded.
According to the Houston Police Department, which is taking the lead on the criminal investigation, several off-duty deputies were working an extra job and were alerted to the gunfire.
Police say one deputy who responded to the shooting discharged his duty weapon, striking an armed suspect who was pronounced dead at the scene.
One of the other patrons who was shot died at the scene. Two others were taken to the hospital. One of the wounded men was treated and released. The other man remains in critical condition.
At this time, police say it is unclear if any other patrons fired weapons inside the club.

The Harris County Sheriff’s Office will conduct an internal affairs investigation. The Harris County District Attorney’s Office will conduct an independent investigation.

The Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission tells FOX 26, the nightclub's liquor license has been suspended for seven days to facilitate investigation.
