2 children drown in pond in Montgomery County, another taken to hospital
GRANGERLAND, Texas (FOX 26) - The Montgomery County Sheriff's Office is investigating what led to the drownings of two young children in Grangerland.
Around 6 p.m. Thursday, a call came in about a young child suffering from lacerations. Authorities were also alerted about three missing children.
The young child who was at a neighbor's house appeared wet, so a search of a pond was conducted.
First responders found two children in the pond and immediately began CPR. Despite efforts, the two children were pronounced deceased.
The child with lacerations was taken to the hospital in stable condition.
The sheriff's office says two children that drowned were 3 years old and 4 years old.
