Deputies search for driver who hit 13-year-old
Deputies are looking for the driver they say hit a 13-year-old boy who was riding a bike.
HOUSTON - Deputies are searching for the driver of a pick-up truck that they say hit a 13-year-old boy who was riding a bicycle.
The boy was struck while crossing the street near Hollywood Blvd. and Bandera Street in east Harris County around 8:40 p.m. Thursday.
Authorities say he was hit by a white Dodge truck, which then fled the scene.
The child was taken to the hospital and is expected to survive.
