  1. My truck was hit and pushed into my neighbor's car, then into my son's car. Police issued a citation. He had insurance, but later we found out it lapsed before the accident. He emailed me a new insurance card showing insurance effective the day of the accident. But both agencies are refusing to accept the claim. My son and I are on the same policy and only have liability. What can we do? He did nearly $8,000 of damage to my truck alone.
  2. I traded my car in almost 5 years ago to a dealership. They auctioned the car, but it was never taken out of my name. Now it has been impounded. I have the bill of sale from the car lot. But the DMV says whoever bought it has to take it out of my name. The impound lot says it will file theft charges if I try to pick the car up. The DMV says to file complaints against the car lot and impound lot. What should I do?
