Prairie View Trail Riders journey to Houston
It's almost rodeo time in Houston, which means hundreds of trail riders are making their way to the city.
The Prairie View Trail Riders are heading out for their third full day and will be traveling around 17 miles on Tuesday.
The Prairie View Trail Ride Association is historically the first black trail riding group to be a part of the rodeo. This is their 62nd year taking part.
The trail boss said one of his favorite parts is being able to bring together multiple generations to continue the history.
Reporter Deneige Broom caught up with the Prairie View Trail Riders as they headed out for the day.
