Lonnie of Lonnie's B Lemonade says Lemonade Day encourages youth entrepreneurship

HOUSTON (FOX 26) - Youth in Houston are ready to celebrate a day that is fun and teaches them how to operate their own business.

In participating cities, children and youth are able to set up their lemonade stands or businesses while gaining support from their community.

Kids learn business skills, financial literacy and teamwork, among other things.

Lonnie of Lonnie's B Lemonade stopped by FOX 26 to tell us about the initiative. She has been an entrepreneur since the age of eight, and has created delicious flavors, including Cucumber Watermelon and Cheesecake!
