Henke & Pillot a Houston Restaurant Weeks participant

Pop-up chef Cuc Lam asked the owners of Henke & Pillot, a downtown Houston lounge, if she could serve as s cook in the kitchen for the five-week long Houston Restaurant Weeks event, which benefits the Houston Food Bank. The group at Henke & Pillot gave its blessing and customers are enjoying Chef Lam's Asian-inspired recipes. The HRW menu that she curated offers a three-course dinner for $35. During a visit to FOX 26 Morning News, Chef Lam demonstrated how to prepare her signature dish, Tiger Cry. She will donate $5 from each dinner sold to the Houston Food Bank until Labor Day, Sept. 5.
