Houston weather: Bush, Hobby airports to reopen Wednesday
William P. Hobby Airport and George Bush Intercontinental Airport will be back open on Wednesday after shutting down Tuesday due to the snow and ice, sources tell FOX 26.
When will Houston airports reopen?
TSA lines will open at 9 a.m. at both Hobby and Bush Airports.
Flights will begin arriving at 10 a.m.
Departing flights will start taking off at 11 a.m.

Houston airport closures
Both Bush and Hobby airports paused flight operations at midnight on Tuesday because of the weather.
Airport officials say more than 100 people were stranded at Bush overnight.
Crews at both airports worked through the day on Tuesday to clear runways and prepare the airfield.

"We're working with our customers who are impacted by the planned airport closures in Houston and have waivers in place for cities that are preparing for winter weather. Customers should visit united.com to check their flight status and view the latest information," said United in a statement.

With temperatures keeping around the 30s on Tuesday, we can expect the snow and ice to stick around.
Although some melting might occur, Tuesday night is expected to plunge to the upper 10s and 20s creating a hard freeze in the Greater Houston area.
